Data-driven applications
More and more websites are not brochures but applications: the product selector, configurator or customer portal runs on data from a PIM, ERP or CRM. We specialize in exactly that architecture: PIM, middleware, web application and surrounding systems working together reliably and fast. The website is a shell around the data, not the other way around.
A common mistake is querying external systems live on every page view. That makes the website slow and overloads the source. We therefore build an integration layer that fetches, normalizes and caches data from systems like Akeneo, Pimcore, Syncforce, SAP or Salesforce. Changes in the source are applied event-driven instead of through nightly batch imports, so data stays current without sacrificing performance. The web applications run on that layer and stay fast, even under heavy traffic spikes. An added benefit: the CMS or e-commerce platform becomes replaceable, while the investment in the data layer and applications remains intact. Later extensions, such as a self-service portal on ERP and CRM data, connect to the same integration layer.
